Note: Draw weight, in this case 55 lbs, is not a reliable indicator of crossbow performance!
Many factors such as the power stroke, the efficiency of the bow, the rebound characteristics of the bow, the weight of the arrow, the weight of the string and many more affect the energy that the arrow receives when fired.
Depending on the weight of the arrow and how many times the string has been twisted (which shortens the string), this AR-6 Stinger II bow will deliver between 11 and 14 joules (8.1 – 10.3 ft-lbs) of kinetic Energy.
Important: The new limbs of the AR-6 Stinger II do not fit the previous versions of the AR-6 Stinger.
